After splitting the two games in Belle River, the Amherstburg Admirals return home for their first ever playoff game in Amherstburg.

The Belle River Canadiens used two power play goals to edge out the Admirals in game one, thanks to a Mike Ditty overtime goal. Colin Hamilton and Mark Sobocan scored the Admirals’ goals, while Arren Romeril made 40 saves in the loss.

Game two played out much the same way, tight checking and very even. This time it would be the Admirals who came out on top, as Dan Matoski scored a beautiful falling backhand goal in overtime to lift the Admirals to a 3-2 win. Steven Spada and Blake Rutckyj had the other Admirals’ goals and once again Romeril was spectacular, stopping 28 of 30 shots.

The puck drops for game three at 3:30 at the newly named Libro Centre. Come out and support your Admirals and FILL THE HOUSE!
