After getting blown out against the Wheatley Sharks last week, the Amherstburg Admirals bounced back with a 3-2 overtime win over the Wallaceburg Lakers. Tonight the team will look to make it two in a row as they travel to Mooretown to face the Flags.

The last time these two teams met, a three point night from Macgregor Haddon and 31 saves by Brandon Johnson helped the Flags down the Admirals 5-4 in Amherstburg. The Flags now lead the season series two games to one.

Mooretown forward Dan Lumley has played well against the Admirals this season, with six points in three games. He has been their offensive catalyst all season long and leads the team in points with 37 in 30 games. Mooretown is on a bit of a roll lately, having won three of their last four, including a 6-5 win over the Dresden Kings on Saturday.

The Admirals trail the third-place Mooretown Flags by three points with one game at hand. Dan Matoski has five points in three games against Mooretown, and leads the Admirals with 26 points in 29 games.

With just 10 games remaining in the regular season, every point from here on out is crucial. Getting two points against the team that is just ahead of them in the standings would be huge tonight.
