The Amherstburg Admirals used a total team effort to beat the Dresden Kings 5-1 Oct. 18 in Dresden.
After falling behind 1-0 early, Thomas Eady finished off a great pass from Kyle Morand at 15:37 on the power play.
The power play would strike again late in the second period when Ryan Jones blew a point shot past Dresden goaltender Brent Paxton. With 21 seconds left in the period, the offence from the defence continued. Curtis Prymack (1G, 2A) also beat Paxton with a point shot to give the Admirals a two goal lead.
James Brooks (1G, 2A) wouldn’t be out done by the defencemen as he scored his third goal of the season and added an assist on Zach Brown’s goal mid-way through the period.
Chris Wallace made 26 saves en route to his third win of the season.
The Admirals are back in action Oct. 20 when they host the Wallaceburg Lakers.
